creamy mac and cheese
- 1 lb box of macaroni I used Rotini type
- 4 quart water
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 7 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp cornstarch or tapioca starch
- 2 tbsp margarine, butter or ghee your choice
- boil water oil and salt put pasta in pot stir bring to boil stir boil 7 to 8 minutes drain add back to pot off heat.
- in another pot add milk, heat the milk add margarine butter or ghee add garlic to milk*
- add cheese in the milk let the cheese melt.
- After the cheese melts mix cornstarch with quarter cup of milk pour into milk it will thicken the sauce.
- pour sauce over pasta, mix well, enjoy.
- any pasta will do
