Bread Machine Baguettes
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 cup Bread Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Yeast
- 1 large Egg Yolk
- 1 tbsp Water
- Place dough ingredients in bread machine in the order listed.
- Run on Dough Cycle.
- When complete, place dough in a grease bowl, turning to coat all sides.
- Punch down dough in bowl.
- Roll out dough on a lightly-floured surface, to 16x12 inches.
- Cut into two 8x12 pieces.
- Move to greased baking sheet and make deep, diagonal cuts every two inches.
- Beat egg yolk with water and brush over loaves.
