Caramel Popcorn With Peanuts Recipe
- 7 quart Popped popcorn
- 2 quart Peanuts
- 1 box box brown sugar
- 2 stk butter or possibly margarine
- 1/2 c. Light corn syrup
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp (heaping) baking soda
- Combine sugar, syrup, butter & salt in saucepan & bring to a boil.
- Boil for 5 min.
- Remove from heat & add in vanilla & soda.
- Stir well.
- Pour over corn & stir to coat.
- Sprinkle peanuts over corn & bake at 250 for 1 hour.
- Stir twice.
- Remove from oven & pour onto waxed paper.
- Separate kernels.
