Beef Cheese Casserole (Kt) Recipe
- 1 x 12 ounce yolk-free egg noodles medium vegetable cooking spray
- 1 x onion diced fine
- 1 x 12 ounce Morningstar Farms Soy Crumbles
- 1 x 15 ounce tomato sauce
- 1 x 8 ounce nonfat cream cheese
- 1/4 c. nonfat lowfat sour cream
- 1 x 1 c. lowfat cottage cheese 1 %
- 1 bn green onions white and green diced
- Cook and drain noodles.
- Set aside.
- Saute/fry onion in Pam till soft.
- Stir in soy crumbles.
- Saute/fry for a few min then add in tomato sauce.
- Salt and pepper if you like.
- Combine cream cheese, lowfat sour cream, cottage cheese and green onion.
- Grease a 13 x 9 pan.
- Layer in half the noodles, all the filling, the rest of the noodles, top with sauce.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 30 - 45 min or possibly till warm.
- NOTES : Kristin: You can use hamburger instead of soy crumbles.
