Daigaku-imo Style Sweet and Sour Kabocha Squash

  1. Chop kabocha into 1 and 1/2 cm slices.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, and fry the kabocha until the flesh is crisp and brown.
  3. Lightly sprinkle salt, combine the ingredients marked with , and coat the kabocha slices in the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds, and serve.
  5. Try it with sweet potatoes.
