Baked Eggs With Ham And Sherry Recipe
- 25 gm Butter, softened
- 4 slc Good ham, shredded
- 4 x Free-range Large eggs
- 4 dsp dry Fino sherry
- 125 ml Double cream
- 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh chives Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- Preheat the oven to Gas 5/375degF/190degC.
- Grease 4 medium ramekins with the butter.
- Then place strips of ham in each ramekin.
- Then break 1 egg on top of each piece of ham.
- Add in a Tbsp.
- of sherry to each ramekin followed by 1 fluid oz of the cream.
- Finally sprinkle the chives equally over each ramekin, season generously with salt and freshly grnd black pepper.
- Place in a moderate oven for 6-8 min till the Large eggs are just set.
