Best Biscuits With Sausage Recipe
- 4 c. biscuit mix
- 3/4 c. lemon-lime soft drink
- 8 ounce lowfat sour cream
- 12 x sausage patties
- Combine biscuit mix, soft drink and lowfat sour cream.
- Knead on a lightly floured surface three to four times.
- Divide into 12 parts and flatten each part slightly with hands.
- Arrange on a lightly greased 9-inch cake pan.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 14 min or possibly till golden brown.
- Split biscuits.
- Put a sausage patty between each biscuit.
- Refrigerateleftover sausage biscuits in foil and reheat at 350 degrees for from 5 - 10 min.
- This recipe yields 12 servings.
- Comments: For testing purposes only, Sprite was used for the lemon-lime soft drink.
