Easy Rhubarb Dessert
- 3 cup chopped rhubarb (fresh or thawed from frozen)
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp water
- 6 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 6 tbsp butter or margarine (3/4 stick)
- 1/2 cup oats (old fashioned or quick cooking)
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the rhubarb, flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and water.
- Stir to combine.
- Pour into a lightly greased 8 X 8 pan.
- In a second bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, oats and butter.
- Mix together until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over the rhubarb.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
