Sausage Cheese Lasagna Recipe
- 1 pound warm bulk pork sausage
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can tomato soup
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry whole oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry whole basil
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (16 ounce.) carton cottage cheese
- 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Brown sausage in a skillet, stirring to crumble, drain off drippings.
- Stir in soup, garlic, oregano, and basil.
- Mix well.
- Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- Place 3 noodles in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 3 inch baking dish.
- Layer 1/3 each of meat mix, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, and Parmesan cheese over noodles.
- Repeat layer twice.
- Cover with aluminum foil.
- Let stand 2 hrs or possibly chill overnight.
- Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 min.
- Yields 6 servings.
