Wasabi fried calamari
- 4 medium squid (cleaned)
- 5 tsp wasabi powder
- 6 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- Put the wasabi in a plastic bag.
- Cut the squid and then put it in the bag with the wasabi and shake.
- Beat egg with a generous pinch of salt.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan/wok.
- One by one coat the squid withegg and then the flour and put on thenpan.
- Take the squid out of the pan after around 1 minute a half or until they are golden brown.
