Crispy Pumpkin Treats

  1. In a large saucepan, heat butter over low heat until melted
  2. Add marshmallows, stirring occasionally until completely melted.
  3. Add food coloring and stir until the orange is spread throughout.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in cereal
  5. Grease a bowl and pour your mixture into it.
  6. Coat your hands or food-safe plastic gloves with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Form pumpkin shapes using 2/3 cup of the mixture for each pumpkin.
  8. (You can use about half that amount to make them smaller for parties)
  9. Roll and shape tootsie Rolls to resemble stems.
  10. (Half the tootsie roll if you made the pumpkin smaller) add stems to pumpkins.
  11. Let stand for 3 hours before serving
