Biscuit Muffin Cups

  1. Cut shortening into flour, baking powder, and salt until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
  2. Stir in just enough milk so dough leaves side of bowl and rounds up into a ball.
  3. Turn onto floured surface and knead lightly 10 times.
  4. Roll 1/4 inch thick and cut with floured biscuit cutter.
  5. (You can roll them as thin as you need to, you just need to end up with 24 biscuits.
  6. Don't be afraid that they're to thin, they will grow in the oven.

  8. Line 12 lightly greased muffin pans with one biscuit.
