Malai Kofta Kabab Curry

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix 2 Tbsp.
  3. cream cheese product and milk in medium bowl until blended.
  4. Add meat; bread crumbs; 1 tsp.
  5. each garam masala, ground coriander, ground cumin and fenugreek; and 1/2 tsp.
  6. chili powder just until blended.
  7. Shape into 16 balls, using 2 Tbsp.
  8. for each.
  9. Place on parchment-covered rimmed baking sheet; flatten slightly.
  10. Bake 5 min.
  11. on each side.
  12. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  13. Add onions, ginger and cumin seed; cook 10 min.
  14. or until onions are softened, stirring frequently.
  15. Add remaining cream cheese product, remaining dry seasonings and water; mix well.
  16. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.
  17. or until slightly thickened, stirring frequently.
  18. Add meat kababs to sauce; stir gently to evenly coat.
  19. Cover; simmer 10 min.
  20. or until kabobs are done (160 degrees F), stirring occasionally.
  21. Sprinkle with fresh coriander.
  22. Serve with rice.
