Sausage Mushroom Egg Casserole Recipe
- 2 1/4 c. seasoned croutons
- 1 1/2 pound pork sausage, cooked and liquid removed
- 4 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 (10 ounce.) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- Use a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish greased.
- Layer, starting with croutons.
- Then add in sausage.
- Mix together Large eggs, lowfat milk, soup, mushrooms, and dry mustard.
- Pour over crouton/sausage mix.
- Chill overnight.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 min.
- Sprinkle cheese on and cherry tomatoes for garnish and bake another 5 min or possibly till cheese is melted.
