Caramelized Brie and Apple Decadence

  1. Take your wheel of brie and cut off the top crust only (with about a 1-inch perimeter left on to help it hold its shape).
  2. Sprinkle the top lightly with brown sugar, then put it under the broiler for just a minute or two- watching constantly so that it doesn't burn- until the sugar melts, and then remove it.
  3. Serve with thin slices of Granny Smith or Braeburn apples.
