Mike Douglas' Chicken Parmigiana

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F
  2. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and brown on all sides in the butter.
  3. Sprinkle with the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the green pepper, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and vermouth.
  5. Cover tightly and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Add the olives and cook for 10 minutes longer.
  7. Serve with grated cheese.
