Sweet And Sour Beans
- 8 slices bacon, fried
- 4 lg. onions, sliced thin
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard, dry
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 (15 oz.) cans dried butter beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can green lima beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
- Fry bacon until crisp, remove from skillet, add following to drippings:
- 4 large onions (sliced thin), 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 tablespoon dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup vinegar.
- Cook 20 minutes.
- Drain dried butter beans, green lima beans, and dark red kidney beans.
- Add pork and beans (do not drain).
- Mix all beans together, add bacon and onion sauce.
- Bake 1 hour at 350u0b0 or crockpot 6 - 7 hours on low.
