Beef & Asparagus Stir-Fry
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup lite soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 teaspoons Land O Lakes Butter
- 3/4 pound pre-cut beef stir-fry meat
- 1/2 pound fresh asparagus spears, trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces*
- 1 (16-ounce) package fresh stir-fry vegetables **
- Hot cooked rice, if desired
- Stir together all sauce ingredients in small bowl.
- Set aside.
- Melt butter in 12-inch nonstick skillet or wok; add beef.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until meat is browned.
- Add sauce, asparagus and vegetables.
- Cover; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 6-8 minutes or until mixture thickens and vegetables are heated through.
- Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired.
