Turkey Sausage, Onion & Pepper Heroes - Weight Watchers

  1. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and set over medium heat.
  2. Saute sausage until browned, about 5 minutes; remove to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  3. Add oil to same skillet and heat for about 45 seconds; add garlic and saute until golden, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add onion and saute for 3 minutes.
  5. Add peppers and saute until vegetables are softened, about 6 to 8 minutes more.
  6. Stir in vinegar and then return sausage to skillet; toss to combine.
  7. Split bread lengthwisealmost, but not all the way through; fill with sausage mixture.
  8. Cut into 4 equal pieces and serve.
