Heroes in the Seaweed

  1. Shred cabbage rather fine.
  2. Put in saucepan or steamer basket and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Cover pan and place over a low flame and steam until very tender.
  4. Beat the egg, add the sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar and pour over the steamed cabbage.
  5. Heat for 5 minutes and serve at once.
