Chocolate Farfel Roll

  1. Sprinkle wine and brandy over broken matzos and let stand 10-15 minutes.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar, then beat in cocoa and eggs.
  3. Add softened matzos.
  4. Spread nuts evenly over a sheet of waxed paper.
  5. Spread mixture evenly on top.
  6. Roll like a Swiss roll with nuts on outside.
  7. Chill overnight.
  8. Serve thinly sliced.
