Peanut Butter Biscuits Recipe
- 2 c. whole wheat or possibly unbleached flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt (less if peanut butter is very salty)
- 1/4 c. skim lowfat milk solids
- 3 teaspoon double-acting baking pwdr
- 1 tbsp. Brewer's yeast">yeast or possibly yeast">yeast flakes
- 3 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. dark molasses or possibly honey
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Cream butter or possibly peanut butter; then cut this blend into the dry ingredients with a pastry blender or possibly two knives.
- Add in lowfat milk and molasses or possibly honey, and mix briskly with a fork.
- Drop by the spoonful onto greased cookie sheet or possibly into greased muffin tins.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 15 min.
- Makes 12 to 15.
