Caramel Apple Topping
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup caramel topping
- 3 medium apples, such as Gala, Red Delicious, or Golden Delicious
- Peel the apples.
- Cut each apple into fourths.
- Cut the core and seeds out of the center of each fourth.
- Cut each fourth into slices or smaller pieces.
- Melt the margarine in the skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in the apples.
- Cook About 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until apples are crisp-tender when pierced with a fork.
- Pour the caramel topping over the apples.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until topping is warm.
- remove the skillet from the heat & serve.
