Tejas Trail Mix

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Toast each type of nut separately, 10 to 15 minutes until they are fragrant and have begun to color; time will vary depending on nut size and oil content.
  3. In a large bowl combine toasted nuts with both kinds of raisins.
  4. In a small bowl, combine kosher salt, cayenne pepper, cumin and molasses.
  5. Mix into nut mixture.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
