Fruit Flavored Simple Syrup

  1. Whisk egg white in a large bowl until slightly frothy, then whisk in water and sugar.
  2. Pour mixture into a sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, cook stirring constantly for approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk in the fruit juice of your choice and allow to come to a boil, let boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 months.
  5. To make this syrup more like freezer jam substitute your favorite fruit puree for the fruit juice.
