Skillet Italian Turkey Sausage & Rice
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1 lb. Italian turkey sausage links, sliced
- 1 each green and red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Heat dressing in large deep skillet on medium heat.
- Add sausage; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
- Add bell peppers, tomatoes, seasonings and water; stir.
- Bring to boil.
- Stir in rice; cover.
- Simmer on low heat 5 min.
- Remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 min.
- or until liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff with fork.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
