Healthy Filipino Green Bean Stew

  1. In a pot, heat oil and sautAS onion until just translucent
  2. Add ground beef, break up and brown.
  3. (About 5-8min) add salt and pepper.
  4. Add the tomato, ginger and fish sauce and stir together for 3 min.
  5. (Play with the amount of ginger and fish sauce to your taste)
  6. Add the green beans, stir.
  7. Then add the water.
  8. Bring everything to boil, and cook until green beans are cooked but still a little crisp.
  9. Eat alone as a stew or serve along side some steamed jasmine rice.
  10. ***you can eat the ginger, but it's mainly for flavor.
  11. Remove when serving.
  12. Also my hubby like to add a few dashes of fish sauce to his plate***
