Juicy and Flavorful Grilled Burgers
- 1 pound 15-20% Ground Beef
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Shallot, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Coarse-Grained Dijon Mustard
- 2 teaspoons Ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 slices Your Favorite Cheese
- 4 whole Hamburger Buns
- 1 head Read Leaf Lettuce, Leaves Separated
- 1 whole Tomato, Sliced
- With ground beef in a mixing bowl, add garlic, shallots, mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix ingredients, but dont over-mix.
- Over-mixing will just make mushy burgers.
- Take about a palmful of meat in your hand.
- Pat flat in your hand then use your free hand to form it into a round patty.
- Let rest at room temperature and prepare garnishes while grill preheats.
- When grill is nice and hot, put patties over direct heat and cover grill.
- Cook for 3 minutes.
- Flip burgers and cook for another 5 (for medium), 6 (for medium well), or 7 (for well done) minutes.
- In the last 23 minutes on the grill, put cheese on top of patties.
- Place buns on top rack, face down, if you want to toast them.
- Keep grill covered as much as possible.
- Once burgers are done, let rest for about 5 minutes.
- Place on your bun, serve with garnishes and enjoy!
