Easy Caramel-Pear Free-Form Pie
- 20 KRAFT Caramels
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust (1/2 of 14.1-oz. pkg.)
- 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 Bosc pears, peeled, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. butter, cut into small pieces
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Microwave caramels and milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
- or until caramels are completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring after each minute.
- Cool 5 min.
- Meanwhile, unroll pie crust onto parchment-covered baking sheet; roll into 12-inch circle.
- Spread with cream cheese to within 2 inches of edge.
- Place pears in medium bowl.
- Add lemon juice and nutmeg; toss to evenly coat pears.
- Drizzle half the caramel sauce over cream cheese.
- Arrange pears in concentric circles over dessert.
- Dot with butter.
- Drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.
- Fold edge of pie crust over pears.
- (Crust will not completely cover pears in center.)
- Bake 25 to 30 min.
- or until pears are tender and crust is golden brown.
- Cool completely.
