Steakhouse Hamburgers I
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 tbsp steak sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- Make a bowl out of the ground sirloin.
- Fill cavity with the egg yolk, steak sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix evenly.
- Patty hamburgers into approximately 2 inch thick patties.
- Let rest in refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat cast iron skillet on medium heat.
- Melt butter in the skillet.
- Place patties on skillet with even spacing.
- Cook on one side for 2 minutes, flip, and cook for another two minutes.
- Repeat.
- Top with a slice of cheese, if you like, on the fourth 2 minute interval.
- Remove from skillet and let rest for a couple minutes.
- Enjoy with toppings and bread of your choosing.
