Cranberry Liqueur
- 2 cups frozen cranberries
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 cups vodka
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Boil the cranberries, sugar and 1/2 cup water until the cranberries are soft and start to pop, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Puree in a food processor and pour into a jar.
- Add the vodka and cinnamon sticks and refrigerate for at least 3 days and up to several weeks.
- Strain through a fine sieve before serving.
