Persimmon Raisin Cookies Recipe

  1. Cream butter; gradually add in sugar, beating well.
  2. Add in egg, and beat well.
  3. Combine flour, spices, and salt; add in to creamed mix, mixing well.
  4. Combine persimmon pulp and soda; stir well and add in to creamed mix.
  5. Stir in raisins and pecans.
  6. Drop dough by level tablespoonsful onto greased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 min or possibly till done.
  8. Yield: 3 dozen.
