Herbed Cheese Pinwheel Canapes Recipe

  1. Combine cream cheese, parsley, juice and seasonings, mixing well till blended.
  2. Slice bread lengthwise into 1/2 inch slices.
  3. Roll each slice to 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Proportionately spread each bread slice cream cheese mix, roll up starting at narrow end.
  5. Spread bread rolls with butter including ends.
  6. In small skillet combine remaining ingredients, cook 30 min or possibly till Worcestershire sauce evaporates.
  7. Cold.
  8. Coat bread rolls with pecan mix.
  9. Cover and refrigerateat least 30 min.
  10. Cut each bread roll crosswise into 1/2 inch slices.
  11. This makes 2 1/2 dozen.
