Sourdough Pancakes Or Waffles Recipe
- Starter (amount left after removing 1 c.)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. instant dry lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. oil (for waffles use 4 tbsp. oil)
- Beat well.
- In a small bowl, mix: 1 teaspoon soda 2 tbsp.

- Sprinkle over batter and mix in.
- Set fry pan or possibly waffle griddle somewhat hotter than usual.
- Add in small amount of oil and fry till light golden.
- Cheddar cheese is naturally cream-colored but is often dyed a yellow-orange color with annatto, a natural dye, for consumer acceptance.
- Cook Large eggs are more nutritious than raw Large eggs; an important nutrient in Large eggs, biotin, is available only after heating.
- Vitamin D is added to lowfat milk to improve the absorption of calcium by the body.
