Microwave Marshmallow Crisp Candy Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 pkg. miniature marshmallows
- 5 c. crispy rice cereal
- In 3 qt casserole place butter.
- Microwave at high 1 minute to heat.
- Add in marshmallows.
- Cover.
- Microwave at high 3 to 4 min.
- Remove from oven and stir till butter is melted and marshmallows are well blended.
- Add in cereal.
- Stir till well coated.
- Press hot mix proportionately and firmly into lightly buttered 12 x 8 x 2 inch dish.
- Use wax paper or possibly buttered spatula to press firmly into an even layer.
- Cold, cut into squares.
- Makes 24 (2 inch) squares.
