Microwave Marshmallow Crisp Candy Recipe

• 1/4 c. butter
• 1 pkg. miniature marshmallows
• 5 c. crispy rice cereal

1. In 3 qt casserole place butter.
2. Microwave at high 1 minute to heat.
3. Add in marshmallows.
4. Cover.
5. Microwave at high 3 to 4 min.
6. Remove from oven and stir till butter is melted and marshmallows are well blended.
7. Add in cereal.
8. Stir till well coated.
9. Press hot mix proportionately and firmly into lightly buttered 12 x 8 x 2 inch dish.
10. Use wax paper or possibly buttered spatula to press firmly into an even layer.
11. Cold, cut into squares.
12. Makes 24 (2 inch) squares.
