Golden Pound Cake By Former San Francisco 49'er Wide Receiver John Taylor

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Use electric mixer to beat butter until soft.
  3. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and beat well.
  5. When they are blended, add flour, 1 cup at a time.
  6. Stir in cream and vanilla.
  7. Spread some butter and flour on a 9 X 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
  8. Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and bake until golden brown.
