Whole Wheat Banana Cake
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (or almond flour)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 3 mashed bananas (over-ripe)
- 1/4 cup stevia
- 1/3 cup grapeseed oil
- 1/3 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Preheat the oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9 inch round cake pan
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and sea salt
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, mash the 3 bananas
- Add the cane sugar to the banana mixture along with the rest of the wet ingredients
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined
- Place the batter into the cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- It is ready when poked with a toothpick and it comes out clean
