Gammys Spicy Beans
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 2 whole Large Onions, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Allspice
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- 2 cans (28 Oz. Size) Baked Beans
- 1/2 cups Ketchup
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 2 containers 10 X 10X 2 Casserole Dishes
- Lightly brown ground beef and chopped onions.
- Drain or blot out any grease or oil.
- Add spices and mix well.
- Pour beans into casserole dish (or crock pot).
- Add brown sugar and ketchup and mix.
- Then add the meat and spice mixture, mix well.
- (When I use a crock pot I follow the same steps).
- If you are using the oven Bake 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees, with lid on.
- Using the crock pot I do 1 hour on High and 5 hours on low.
- *If using the crock pot use Pam or a little grease on the sides.
- Trust me, it helps with the clean up!
