Blackberry-Mint Julep

  1. Roughly chop the mint leaves.
  2. Puree the mint, blackberries, and sugar in a blender.
  3. Press through a fine sieve into a bowl; discard seeds.
  4. Rinse blender, then return puree to blender, and add bourbon and 4 cups small ice cubes; blend until smooth.
  5. Divide mixture among 4 glasses.
  6. Garnish each with a mint sprig.
