Beef Tenderloin Recipe
- 1 whole beef tenderloin
- 1 lg. onion, sliced thin
- 1 sm. box fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- Lawry's salt to taste or possibly garlic salt and pepper
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Place a sheet of aluminum foil 8 inches longer than meat on a cookie sheet.
- Place tenderloin on foil.
- Season with Lawry's salt or possibly other.
- Slice onions on top of meat.
- Cover with chili sauce.
- Wrap meat lengthwise and seal ends.
- Bake for 1 hour plus.
- Check with thermometer or possibly slice in middle to check for desired doneness.
- At one hour, meat is rare to medium rare.
