For Mother's Day! Easy Mini Carnation Cake
- 1 Cupcake
- 2 Chocolate decorating pen
- 1 Whipped cream
- Melt the chocolate pens in hot water, and draw small and large petal shapes on top of a cooking sheet.
- They will harden right away, but it is easier to put them in the fridge.
- Cover the top of the cupcake with whipped cream, and stick in the flower petals.
- Even if you make this for a bento, you can make it as cute as this!
- Even a little kid could probably do this.
- If you sprinkle silver dragees in between the petals, they will look like drops of morning dew.
- I made a marigold with orange and yellow petals.
- These are the cupcakes and whipped cream I used this time.
- After using the cream, you can store it in the fridge and use it conveniently a bit at a time.
- Spread out the cream a bit thickly.
- This will make it easier to stick the petals in, and it will cushion them.
- "Soft-type" chocolate pens that stay soft will not harden properly, so please be careful.
