Vegetable Pasties
- 1 onion, finely chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 cup cooked diced potato
- 1/2 cup cooked diced carrot Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- 1/2 cup cooked corn kernels
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon corn relish
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 2 cups grated KRAFT* Cheddar Cheese
- 3 sheets frozen shortcrust pastry
- 1 beaten egg for glazing
- Cook the onion in a little oil until tender, add the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Divide each sheet of pastry into 4 squares.
- Place 1/3 cup of mixture into the centre of the each square.
- Fold in the four corners to form a parcel.
- Place pasties onto a lightly floured scone tray and brush with egg.
- Bake at 220C for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve hot or cold.
