Chocolate Marshmallow Souffle Recipe
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 ounce. unsweetened chocolate, grated
- 30 marshmallows
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- Whipped cream
- 1.
- Heat butter in a saucepan.
- Stir in flour and salt.
- Add in lowfat milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly till thick and smooth.

- Add in sugar, chocolate and marshmallows and stir till marshmallows are melted.
- 3.
- Remove from heat and slowly add in egg yolks and vanilla.
- Blend well.
- Cold.
- 4.
- When cold, mix in the egg whites into the chocolate marshmallow mix.
- 5.
- Pour into a casserole or possibly souffle dish, place in a pan of boiling water and bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour or possibly till set.
- 6.
- Serve hot or possibly cool with whipped cream.
- Serves 6.
