Party Nibbles: Brie with Cranberry Chutney

  1. In saucepan, bring cranberries, sugar and 1 tablespoon water to boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  2. Add onion, lime juice, jalapeno, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Let cool slightly (Can be covered and refrigerated for up to 3 days.)
  4. Place Brie on ovenproof serving dish.
  5. Spoon chutney over top.
  6. Bake in 350F (180C) oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is just starting to melt.
  7. Garnish with pecan halves (if using).
  8. Fresh berries may also be used to garnish.
