Easy Microwave-Made Soy Milk Warabi Mochi
- 50 grams Bracken-Starch Dumpling Powder (Warabi Mochi Powder)
- 300 ml Soy milk
- 30 grams Sugar
- 120 ml Water
- 50 ml Brown Sugar Syrup
- 20 grams Soybean Flour
- In a heat-resistant glass bowl, whisk the dumpling powder and water.
- Then, add the soy milk and sugar.
- Mix well.
- Microwave at 550 W for 2 minutes, stir with a whisk.
- Next, microwave for 1 minute, stir, and repeat 3 times.
- (Total microwaved time is 5 minutes) As you stir, the edges will thicken and the whole thing will become a sticky, paste-like texture.
- Continue mixing well.
- Use a rubber spatula to scoop Step 2 into a bowl with a little bit of water, and use your hand to tear into bite-sized pieces.
- Place in a colander and change the water, add ice, and chill.
- Strain the water with a colander.
- Serve in a dish, top with brown sugar syrup and soybean flour, and they're finished.
