Almond Eggnog French Toast Recipe

  1. Whisk Large eggs together in a large shallow dish.
  2. Add in the half-and-half, brandy, vanilla, nutmeg and salt; mix well.
  3. Heat a generous amount of butter in a griddle or possibly skillet over medium-low heat or possibly to 325 degrees.
  4. Dip bread into egg mix, coating both sides.
  5. Cook, covered for about 4 min on first side.
  6. Turn and sprinkle each slice with a few almonds and cook for another 4 min.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
  8. This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
