Italian Beef Sandwich
- 1-1/4 gal. fat-free lower sodium beef broth
- 2/3 cup GOOD SEASONS Italian Dry Mix Salad Dressing
- 1/3 cup Italian seasoning
- 1-3/4 gal. roast beef, shaved
- 1-1/4 gal. green peppers, thinly sliced
- 1-1/4 gal. red peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 qt. Yellow onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup oil
- 40 rolls Italian bread rolls (5 inch), partially split
- Mix broth, dry mix dressing and Italian seasoning in large saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- Add meat.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, saute peppers and onions in hot oil in large skillet until crisp-tender.
- For each serving: Spoon 4 oz.
- of the meat into each roll; top with 1/2 cup of the vegetable mixture.
- Serve with 1/4 cup of the broth on the side for dipping.
