PHILADELPHIA 3-STEP Double-Chocolate Layer Cheesecake
- 2 pkg. (250 g each) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, cooled
- 1 ready-to-use chocolate pie crust (9 inch)
- 1/2 cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
- 4 fresh strawberries, cut in half
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in medium bowl with mixer until blended.
- Add eggs; beat just until blended.
- Remove 1 cup batter; mix with melted chocolate.
- Pour into crust; top with remaining (plain) batter.
- Bake 40 min.
- or until centre is almost set.
- Cool.
- Refrigerate 3 hours.
- Top with Cool Whip and strawberries just before serving.
