Teriyaki chicken rice bowl
- 3 each chicken breasts-cut bite size
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 clove garlic mashed
- 1/4 ginger-grated or powder
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 cup rice
- 1/2 cabbage-rough chop
- Cook rice ahead of time.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and pan fry chicken.
- Heat two tablespoons of oil and lightly brown garlic, ginger and onion.
- Quickly add soy sauce and brown sugar.
- Stir and heat until diluted.
- Add water and boil mixture until a little thick.
- Add pan fried chicken, turn to coat.
- Set aside.
- Stir fry cabbage.
- In a bowl, layer rice, cabbage and chicken topped with sauce.
- Enjoy.
