Whole Wheat-Walnut Pancakes

  1. Chop walnuts and set aside.
  2. Combine flours,farina cereal, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt in medium bowl and fluff to mix.
  3. In sepatate small bowl, combine soy milk, applesauce and egg.
  4. Blend well.
  5. Combine both wet and dry together.
  6. Let sit 5 minutes while griddle preheats.
  7. Mix briefly just before using.
  8. Drop batter by 1/4 cup onto hot griddle.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  10. Flip when bubbles rise to surface.
  11. Cook until done.
  12. Serve warm or let cool and freeze airtight.
  13. Reheat in toaster oven.
  14. Makes 12 pancakes.
